Amanda Marcotte,
A few friends of mine have been discussing the arguments you raise in your editorials and using logic and factual evidence they have demonstrated that your arguments are unsubstantiated and fallacious. Now to be honest I haven’t actually read many of your articles, in fact I have only seen excerpts from your articles which were then refuted by my friends. I happened to read a small proportion of the article that you wrote and titled: Overview of the anti-feminist/men's rights movement and I must say that your comments were very much unsubstantiated, illogical and in general they were fallacious.
If you’re going to write an article you first need to list substantiated content that can be verified with conclusive scientific evidence. So far your article merely contains your opinion on various issues, and your opinions CANNOT be substantiated as they are merely your opinions. There is a diverse amount of evidence out there which quite clearly shows that your opinions are illogical and absurd. To be honest it seemed that you tried to divert attention away from the facts at hand by discussing the character of specific MRA’s. It must be stated that your general comments about the MRA’s were incorrect.
For example you made some remarks about Darren Blacksmith that were unfounded, unsubstantiated and malicious. As Darren Blacksmith is a very good friend of mine, I can reassure you that he is a highly intelligent man who is able to substantiate his claims using factual evidence. Darren Blacksmith possesses a large degree of integrity, which is one reason why he has earned such a large amount of respect from the persons who visit his website.
One must fathom the reasoning behind your attack on his website, because the content his website is factual and substantiated, meaning it is professionally constructed and a valuable resource. In fact Darren’s website is one of the most substantiated and factual websites on the entire internet. It must be stated that a lot of the content on www.pandagon.net is unsubstantiated and fallacious. Even the statements you have made in regards to gender issues, MRA’s and feminists are generally fallacious and unsubstantiated.
Based on that, this leads to the assumption would be that the writers at www.pandagon.net:
- Are ignorant and unaware of the issues that currently exist within society,
- Are not open minded enough to judge the sexes without stating biased view.
- Possess a very limited knowledge of gender issues.
You also claimed that Darren Blacksmith does not try to hide his dislike for women and belief that males are superior, however the fact is such a claim cannot be conclusively substantiated due to the following: The varying degrees in which the claim can be interpreted prevent a person from coming to a conclusive decision. The fact is Darren Blacksmith uses factual evidence to support the statements he makes on his website, and factual evidence cannot be labelled as being derogatory or discriminatory. If you find the content on Darren’s website to be offensive, then that merely portrays your character in a negative manner.
Darren’s website merely expresses the fact that the vast majority of contributions within society have been produced by males and if this is the sole reason that you find his site offensive then it only resembles a sense of jealousy and insecurity on your behalf. Now in terms of superiority, I cannot remember Darren ever saying that males are superior to females. However as Darren Blacksmith studies psychology on a daily basis and works within the field of psychology, he has access to information which proves that brain of males is different to the brain of females.
Now if a person suggested that males are superior and substantiates their claim with physical evidence, then that person has not committed any act that is discriminatory of sexist. So let’s discuss the biology of the Human brain, to determine which sex contains a greater ability to obtain highly intellectual thinking, and compare that with how males and females have performed within since Human civilisation first evolved.
The structure of the male brain evolved to allow for a greater ability to analyse and interpret data from the outside world, while the structure of the female brain evolved to allow for more advanced communication skills. As a result females on average tend to speak 10,000-15,000 words MORE than males on a daily average. Based on this it would be fair to assume that females tend to be more competent within industries that are based around communication skills, while males tend to be more competent within industries that are based around the analyse and interpretation of data.
Intelligence is the ability to think in an analytical manner, which requires the ability to analyse and interpret data from the outside world. Since Humans evolved from the pongidae, well over 95% of that time was spent having to survive living in an environment that was filled with predators and extreme other elements. In order for Humans to survive, they needed to be able to live within their environment and develop an efficient method of reproduction.
Since females were and still are the only sex who bare children, the evolution of their senses and anatomy evolved to ensure their primary function was to ensure the offspring were adequately nurtured and cared for. As males did not and still do not possess the ability to reproduce, the evolution of their senses and anatomy evolved to ensure that their primary function was to develop an understanding of their environment so that they could obtain prey and protect their civilisation.
In order for this to happen, the female brain needed to develop a design which focused on the communication skills necessary to efficiently communicate and relate to their offspring, while the male brain needed to develop a design which producing an advanced ability to analyse and interpret data from the outside world, so that they could locate any possible predators and prey. If feminists are unable to accept that the design of the male brain differs to the design of the female brain, then that only suggests the following:
- The feminists must possess a delusional and paranoid mentality in which their anger is produced by their own psychological problems, therefore no matter how matriarchal society becomes the feminists will STILL be livid and distressed.
The biological differences between the male and female brain that relate to different styles of thinking is based primarily on the following:
- The corpus collusum is the region which connects the two hemispheres together, and is larger in females.
- The longitudinal fasciculi is the region which connects the front of the brain with the rear of the brain, and is larger in males.
As the rear of the brain specialises in spatial ability and eyesight, this results in males having a more advanced ability to interpret and analyse data from the outside world due to the fact that the male brain is able to produce a greater integration between the front and rear regions. This is why the IQ of females in general clusters around the 115 mark, while the IQ of males range all over the scale.
Based on this information, males and females ARE different and any feminist who refuses to accept this is only proving herself to be a delusional simpleton. The political arena is meant for persons who are able to contain their emotions and base their policies around legitimate issues that can be substantiated using factual evidence. If feminists are unable to accept the truth and feel the need to silence anyone who states the truth, then that is a clear indication that feminists are not fit enough to work within politics.
In regards to the editorials you have written about the Men’s Rights Movement., it must be stated that your conclusion are unsubstantiated and incorrect. Therefore since you have chosen to discuss your views of the Men’s Rights Movement, I will now discuss the history of feminism.
Feminism began in 1848, which was during the period in which men had firmly industrialised the world. The industrialisation of the world provided more security and opportunities for men, women and children. The main industries were located within the urban areas, which resulted in families having to relocate to the cities and surrounding suburbs. Such lucrative jobs within the cities meant that the persons living within these regions had access to lucrative employment which allowed them enough money to purchase property and food.
As a result, families living within the cities and surrounding suburbs were no longer dependent on cultivating their own agricultural crops in order to survive. As families were able to survive on a sole income, and with a lacking amount of technology, there wasn’t a vast range of childcare products. This resulted in families having no choice but to utilise their strengths in order to survive. This meant the strongest worker would be the provider, and the best nurturer would be the carer of the children. As a result the men provided for their families, while the women cared for the children.
As the persons living within the urban areas were no longer required to maintain a farm, this gave the women and children in particular a lot of free time. This resulted in the opening of Women Only Universities by the 1830’s, as women and children no longer needed to sustain a farm, so they could obtain an education. Prior to the 19th century the vast majority of males and females were unable to obtain an education due to the fact they were required to help maintain the family farm.
Therefore it was farming which was the main barrier between males and females from obtaining an education and a career. Those who did obtain an education were those who came from rich families which did not rely on a family farm for survival. One of the greatest deceptions that feminism was able to succeed in making people believe it was true, was stating that females were prevented from obtaining an education.
The fact females had been attending schools and universities for hundreds of years, along with the fact that Women’s Only Universities were constructed in the 1830’s, which was a shy under 2 decades before feminism was even formed, shows that the system in existence indeed did ALLOW females to obtain an education. It may not have been common for females to obtain an education, however this was mainly due to:
- Females tend to cluster around the 115 mark on the IQ scale, while males range all over the scale from 70-160.
- The vast majority of persons who have an IQ over 160 happen to be males.
- As a result the vast majority of the most intellectual and gifted persons happened to be males, therefore it was those males who possessed the highest intellect that were given the opportunity to obtain an education.
Survival of the fittest has been and always will be the rule of the universe. During the days when technology wasn’t very advanced, the survival of Human civilisation was dependent on allowing the strongest persons to led society. Females who possess male traits such as leadership qualities and the desire to succeed have always existed. However these females are an exception to the rule and they only make up a small minority of females. Even though these females only make up a small minority, throughout history they have succeeded in obtaining an education and played gone onto have somewhat of a successful career.
Belva Ann Lockwood is an example of such a woman. She obtained an education, became a teacher, became a politician, argued in front of the Supreme Court as a lawyer and she even campaigned for the Presidency of the USA, all during the 19th century.
While the industrialised revolution allowed females to have the time to obtain an education, the majority of these females refused to enter the workforce as the work had become very strenuous, dangerous and fatiguing. Prior to the industrialised revolution females worked quite hard around the house and within the workforce, where they produced items such as clothing, helped treat the ill, helped teach the children and even owned their own businesses. However the industrialised revolution created jobs that were dangerous, fatiguing and physically demanding, and this led to females exiting the workforce and choosing to stay at home.
As a result, the year of 1848 saw the establishment of feminism. The founding feminists believed that women deserved the right to vote, however they never showed any indication that they believed females should be forced to register with the Selective Service in order to enable their nation to draft them into the military during times of war. Throughout history the only males who were given the right to vote were those who registered with the Selective Service, which enabled their nation to draft them into the military during times of war.
As a result even the ideology of the early feminists was sexist, hypocritical, unethical and immoral. As you can see, feminism was never responsible for allowing women to enter the workforce, nor was feminism responsible for allowing women to obtain an education, because as this article has demonstrated, females were ALWAYS allowed to obtain an education and enter the workforce. However feminism WAS responsible for allowing women to obtain the right to vote.
Belva Ann Lockwood and Susan B Anthony were instrumental in allowing women to obtain the right to vote, they were both feminists and were highly successful in their fields. Feminists realised that the survival of feminism was dependent on women obtaining the right to vote, because the vast majority of males understood the sexism and fascism that exists within feminist ideology. During the federal election in which Belva Ann Lockwood campaigned as a candidate for the Presidency of the USA, she received very few votes as the vast majority of males understood the true intentions of feminism.
While Early Feminism did contain some valid points, the problem was the Early Feminists based feminism upon sexist and hypocritical ideologies, which basically demanded that females have equal rights but NOT equal responsibility. This was the main reason why it took so long for women to obtain the right to vote. However 19th Century Feminism presented itself in a far more professional and respectable manner compared to 20th and 21st Century feminism.
During the late 19th Century the law system began favouring females to such an extent that laws were passed that gave females MORE rights than males during marriage and the procedure of divorce. Such laws and actual accounts have been documented by persons who lived during the late 19th Century which confirms this.
These laws were instrumental in allowing females to gain the momentum required to finally obtaining the right to vote during the early 20th Century. This was the defining moment in which females obtained a vast degree of power within society as their right to vote came without responsibilities that come with voting. While males were enforced to register with the Selective Services before they were entitled to vote, females DID NOT have to register with the Selective Services in order to vote and this can be described as a huge violation of Human rights.
The two World Wars illustrated just how dangerous such a law was to society, as millions of young males were drafted into the military against their own will. The vast majority of those males actually lost their lives during battle and prior to losing their lives they were subjected to the most inhumane, cruel, immoral and devastating conditions that a Human can endure. Among those who were drafted into the military were adolescent males who had their whole lives ahead of them. The majority of those adolescent males never returned home.
Instead of being given the burden of having to enter the war, females were instead allowed to sit at home and live in the most luxurious lifestyle possible at the time. The males who did survive the war, ended up suffering from such a devastating degree of psychological scarring, they were forever haunted and possessed by the horrors that they endured during the war.
As a result this law was extremely oppressive, discriminatory and detrimental to males, as it gave females MORE rights and subjected males to being mere slaves and 2nd class citizens. In fact the law would have to be considered one of the greatest injustices and violations of Human rights throughout the history of Western civilisation.
Females were never subjected to such cruel, brutal and inhumane punishment, which means the law oppressed males to the extreme. Females have never endured any form of oppression as great as the oppression that this law caused males to endure.
The decision to allow such a law to exist only illustrates the fact that those who passed the law did not think about the consequences such a law would create. During the two world wars, millions of males lost their lives, which had a devastating effect on society, due to the fact that society is maintained and sustained almost solely by males.
Throughout the industrialised revolution to the current period in time, it has been males who have extracted and refined the minerals required to sustain the existence of an industrialised society. Even today, 24 of the 25 most dangerous industries are dominated by males, and these are the industries that extract and refine the minerals required to sustain an industrialised world.
The computer science and engineering fields are also dominated by male employees, and it is these fields which require an advanced knowledge of physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. Knowledge of these fields is crucial as it determines whether a person has the ability to invent products which will revolutionise society. With the two World Wars causing millions of males to lose their lives, there became a shortage of competent and qualified persons required to fill the positions within the workforce that maintain and sustain an industrialised society.
As a result females had no choice but to enter the workforce, however they were unable to enter the industries required to sustain and maintain an industrialised society. Such devastation caused the Great Depression, which nearly caused the extinction of Western civilisation. With so many females having to enter the workforce, feminism began demanding that females be given more rights and more power. As society was recovering from the two World Wars and was in a transitional and developing stage, it had to meet the demands of the feminists.
The problem was the demands that the feminists made were illogical and basically stated females must be given rights without responsibilities. The state of the law system clearly indicates that females are given a large degree of impunity while males are punished a harsh, severe and merciless manner. This is definitive proof that the law system severely oppresses males.
Let’s look at the various laws within the law system and observe how the laws in existence oppress males while giving impunity to females:
The true definition of *oppression* is as followed:
Reference: http://www.webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?...y&va=oppression
Based on that definition, in order for a group of persons to be oppressed, they need to be treated in a manner that is unjust, cruel and an excessive exercise of power by those in power, and this treatment must weigh them down psychologically, physiologically and financially. At the same time another group of persons must be treated in a more Humane manner in which they are offered more rights.
Considering Humans currently live in a civilisation that is controlled by a Government which utilises a law system to enforce it’s power, the only manner in which an entire sex can be oppressed is by the Government. Now based on the laws within society, there is not a single law which oppresses females. However there are MANY laws which give females MORE rights than males, and are designed to relegate males to be mere slaves of females. Therefore based on this, the only sex which can claim to be oppressed are MALES.
Let’s look at the various laws within the law system:
Domestic Violence Laws
Domestic violence laws such as the Primary Aggressor Law Act and Bill 117 were designed with the intent on giving impunity to females who initiate and inflict domestic violence, while punishing males who were victimised or falsely accused of domestic violence. The Primary Aggressor Law Act basically states that the basis of an arrest cannot be determined by who initiated and inflicted the majority of the violence. As a result the basis of the arrest can only be determined by which person the Law Enforcement Officer at the scence believed was most significant.
The Law Enforcement Officer usually determines this based on the size of the persons involved, and declares the physically larger person to be the most significant factor. As a result, the female can be the initiator of the violence, and she may have inflicted the vast majority of injuries between the 2 persons, yet the male can be the one who is arrested. This law was passed due to strong feminist protesting in 1997.
Bill 117 states that if a female makes an accusation that her spouse assaulted her, he will be placed in jail for 24 hours. During that time his assets are frozen and his spouse can claim his assets, and when he is released from jail 24 hours later he may no longer own his house or any of his possessions. The female does not need to prove her accusation is true, and the police are required to make the arrest without obtaining conclusive physical evidence to verify the accusation is true.

Divorce Laws
Divorce courts give impunity to unfaithful and abusive females, by rewarding such women with alimony/child support and more often than not, half of her spouses money as well as their house. During a divorce, a female is entitled to make false accusations of sexual abuse or domestic violence and even if her accusations are proven to be false, she is given impunity.
Such accusations are used to prolong the case in order so that the judge declares the case as being of "no result", and therefore hands custody of the children to the mother. In fact lawyers encourage females to perform this tactic during divorce.

Sexual Harassment and False Accusation Laws
Female employees who make false accusations of sexual harassment are given impunity and are rewarded for their actions when their accusation is proven to be false.

Paternity Fraud Laws
Females who commit paternity fraud are given impunity. In fact if a male obtains a DNA test proving he is not the biological father of the child he is paying child support for, he STILL has to continue paying child support otherwise he is placed in jail.

Child Support Laws
Females who REFUSE to pay child support are given impunity while males who are unable to pay child support due to living in poverty are placed in jail.

Now looking throughout the history of the civilised world, there were never any laws that were designed or enforced that were intent to relegate females to being slaves who are treated in a harsh and cruel manner. In fact the laws always protected and cared for the females. Females weren’t forced to fight for their nation in wars, nor were females forced to handle the responsibilities of being protector and provider of their society.
Females WERE always allowed to work and they DID work until the industrialised revolution. However during the industrialised revolution females CHOSE to exit the workforce due to the fact that the work became exceedingly dangerous and physically demanding.
Women’s Only Universities have existed since the 1830’s, while feminism didn’t begin until 1848. For many centuries females have been obtaining an education and entering the workforce. Back in the 19th century a woman by the name of Belva Ann Lockwood achieved the following:
There were MANY females who achieved similar success as Belva Ann Lockwood in the 18th and 19th centuries. Females were prevented from being able to vote merely because they were not drafted into the military, and in those days only those who owned land and were part of the military were entitled to vote. As females were not part of the military and as they rarely owned land, it was believed they hadn’t earned the right to vote. In other words, only those who earned the right to vote were given that right. The vast majority of males around the world during the 18th and 19th century were denied the opportunity to vote as well, just like the vast majority of males around the world were denied the opportunity to obtain an education.
Look at the world today, 24 of the top 25 most dangerous and physically demanding industries are dominated by males because females DO NOT want to work in such industries. These are the industries that extract and refine the minerals required to sustain an industrialised society. Society is dependent upon these industries to continue functioning, and since these industries are dominated by males, that means society is dependent upon males.
Even today, females CHOOSE to avoid entering industries that require responsibility and hard labour, and the same applied back in the 19th century. In the 19th century females preferred to perform housework instead of working in the industries, because even though housework wasn’t easy in those days, it was far easier, far less demanding and far less stressful than working within the industries.
Females NEVER wanted to perform hard labour, and they STILL DO NOT want to perform hard labour, however they want all the profits that hard labour has to offer. 95% of employees who die during work happen to be males because it is males who dominate 24 of the 25 most dangerous industries.
Based on this knowledge, there is not a single MRA who would want society to return to the same procedures utilised in the 19th century, as such procedures were harsh and difficult for males. Another point I would like to address is the fact that prior to the 20th century, it was males who were FORCED to fight and die in wars, it was males who were FORCED to work long and hard hours just to give up the majority of their earnings to provide for women and children.
Based on that, the only sex who could have even claimed to have been oppressed prior to the 20th century would have been the males. Now the females WERE discriminated against in those days due to the ignorance that came with a lack of technology, and the fact that females are physically and intellectually inferior to males. However discrimination is VERY different to oppression, as oppression is the intent of enslaving a group of persons in a manner that is cruel and meant to weigh them down psychologically, physiologically and financially.
Discrimination is denying a group of persons a right in a manner that isn't cruel or meant to weigh them down psychologically, physiologically and financially. The manner in which females were discriminated was based on the best interests of the females.
Again, there will be feminists who will claim that females are as smart as males, yet the fact is 95% of inventions have been invented by m ales, with well over 90% of persons who possess an IQ that exceeds 160 being males. This only strengthens the claim that males are intellectually superior.
There will always be a small amount of females who will be an exception to the rule and possess the ability to revolutionise society, however for every one female who can revolutionise society, there will literally be dozens of males who can revolutionise society.
It was Adolf Hitler who stated the following:
"The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation."
Feminist indoctrination has tried to justify the oppression of males by stating it is in the best interests of the children to enforce laws which gives males LESS rights and ENSLAVE males. Such indoctrination was essential in allowing feminism to gain enough power to take control of the Family Court. After taking control of the Family Court, feminist influence has allowed the passing of various anti-male laws which are designed to oppress males by taking away their rights and relegating them to being a slave of the system.
Sincerely,
Chris Key
