Whee only men are insitutionalised as the sole perpetrators of DV.
The system is set up to punish men or sentence them to Attendance Programmes to help them see the error of their ways and learn new more appropriate ways of behaving towards their spouses and female partners.
Men are compelled to attend these programmes with the threat of custody if they breach their Attendance Order.
The 'tutors' who teach them 'how to behave' are usually though not exclusively women.
These programmes are conspicuous by the lack of women on Attendance Orders. They are in my experience 100% male. So where are all the female perpetrators of DV? According to the Criminal Justice System in UK, female perpetrators of DV are invisible because they do not exist.
Any man who reports his female partner of DV is at risk of being told 'not to waste police time' or told 'if they persist they are in danger of being arrested FOR wasting police time!!!
The term "Criminal Justice System" is a LIE! There is no justice even as a pretense. The lieyers do not seek justice. The trials only determine which lieyer presented the best case. They gave up all pretense of justice some decades ago.
The correct term is "Criminal Injustice System" or "
CIS" In America it's now correctly called "
AIS."
