Testicular Abuse
Q & A

What is Testicular Abuse?

Testicular abuse is any form of inappropriate violence that is directed at the testes of men and boys.

What motivates people to commit Testicular Abuse?

The testes are hypersensitive to pressure-based stimuli and are extremely vulnerable to injury: a light blow to the testes can induce nausea and dizziness and, causes excruciating pain within the testes and lower abdomen.

They are generative organs and endocrine glands, thus meaning they produce sperm and hormones, respectively. The bulk of a man's testosterone is produced within his testes. This makes the testes the cornerstone of masculinity. Attacking a man's testes is disrespectful and detrimental to his manhood because it has the potential to render him fertile and unable to produce enough testosterone to function as a man.

How is Testicular Abuse different to violence against other areas of the Human anatomy?

The bulk of the Human anatomy is covered by thick layers of skin, muscle and bone. The testes are one of the few areas that do not fall under this catergory -- the only barrier between the testes and the outside world is the thin sac of skin they're enclosed within, the scrotum and, the thin Dartos and Cremaster muscles that control their movement. This leaves them more vulnerable to injury than any other region of the Human anatomy.

What are the possible consequences of Testicular Abuse?

Any damage to the testes, which is possible because they're located in such a vulnerable position, has the potential to have a devastating effect on sperm and testosterone production. The testes' Leydig Cells -- the structures responsible for secreting 95% of a man's testosterone -- can suffer irreparable damage when they're exposed to a violent force. A shortage of functional Leydig cells will lead to low testosterone production. A lot of physiological, psychological and intellectual traits rely upon a steady supply of testosterone for proper functionality.

The Law System

Queensland Law

In Queensland, non-injurous assaults to the testes of civilian men are considered common assault and carry a maximum sentence of 3 years imprisonment. [1] The charge becomes assault occasioning bodily harm and the maximum sentence extends to 7 years imprisonment when the recipient of the violence suffers an injury. [2] Of the many women who've been charged and convicted of this offence, none of them have been penalised with a custodial sentence.
